Was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. In our youth we were neighbors on n.2nd st in bangor, part of the n.2nd st/bangor st gang.We played on the first two bangor little league champion teams and on the bangor high basketball team.In 1960 when the eagles played the packers in the nfl championship, the game was blacked out in the philadelphia and we watched it at the lakeys, they were the only ones with an aerial capable of getting new york tv stations. But,as happens quite often you grow apart as you get older and your life changes but the very fond memories are never forgotten. My sincere condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad and GrandDad passing. Mr Lakey was such an influential person in my life and I’m sure many others as well. Had it not been for him, I would never have gone to Nursing School. He just had a way of talking to his students—we listened!! I’m sending my love and condolences to you, Traci and your entire family. I’m so sorry that I cannot be there to comfort you in person. Just know that my heart is filled with sadness for all of your family. God Bless all of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
