Eleanor Jean Frey Bigelow
LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ
Eleanor Jean Frey Bigelow, 91, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 at the Lopatcong Center in Lopatcong Township.
Eleanor was born in Alpha, NJ, on March 2, 1927 to the late John O. and Jennie Lowe Frey.
Eleanor was employed for many years with Thrift-Drug at the Hillcrest Mall in Lopatcong Township, NJ until 1974. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1944.
Eleanor was a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Eleanor is survived by sons, Robert Bigelow and his wife, Renee of Stewartsville, NJ and Brian Bigelow and his wife, Diane of Harmony Township, NJ; grandchildren, Dena Liberti and her husband Joe, Tracy Lee and her husband Jeff, Rhonda Bigelow and her companion Kim, Brandy Bigelow, and Kevin Bigelow and his wife Sarah; and seven great-grandchildren. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Willis D. Bigelow, who passed in 2014, and three brothers.
A funeral service for Eleanor will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at 12 noon at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A visitation of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
