I had the honor of knowing Barry as a friend and co-worker for 45+ years. His work ethics were outstanding, as were his welder skills. He was always honest, generous, kind and thoughtful, and I really enjoyed being around him. He loved his family and were very proud of them. And of course he loved his orchard. We always looked forward to harvest time, as Barry supplied co-workers with fantastic tasting fruit. I'm so sorry he did not have more time to enjoy retirement, but he left those that knew him with lots of good memories and love. My sincere sympathy and prayers for his family and friends.

I was so saddened to learn of Barry's passing. His cousin, Michael J. (Jake) Brown, and I live up the hill in Porter's Sidling and would visit with Uncle Austy and Aunt Ethel, Barry and Carol from time to time. Barry would drop off apples and peaches at our house from time to time and we were happy when we were fortunate to be at home when he did. We always enjoyed his company. He was such an interesting man with an interesting life. We were very grateful for those wonderful fruits too of course. What a lovely and congenial family you have!! We will be sending prayers for your comfort in this time of loss. Barry will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. May the words recorded in God's word at Isaiah 61:1-2 provide you with peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Carol, Art and Laurie...

I'm so sorry for the depth of your loss. Remembering him well, I know your memories will sustain you and your tears will be evidence of the deep love you each shared with and for him

For the next year each day will be a day of firsts. Take each one and memorize it , allow it to encase you and store it in your heart. It's the bridge you will build with these days that lead you to fullness of heart!

Much love
