Our deepest sympathies to the family. We were patients of Dr's Stefan and Maria and after Dr Stefan was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, Dr Maria looked at my neck and noticed a lump. It is only a small nodule and continues to be monitored but her sharp eye and caring nature will always be remembered.

Etel, I remember the first time I met your mother. It was in the art room at Clearview Elementary school and she came to class with you . I also remember how beautiful you both were and that she was wearing this gorgeous red-violet sweater that contrasted with her flawless skin. I chose your parents as my doctors for many years. She not only provided me with medical assistance but with kindness and empathy when I was going through some tough times.
Since I retired your mother reconnected by signing up for my art classes at the Hanover Area Arts Guild. She wanted to learn as much as possible and did beautiful work. I knew some of her history but the obit provided much more. What an amazing woman. She loved you and Kiril so much and was so proud of her grandchildren, sharing photos and stories. I wish I would have asked for a copy of the poem she wrote after this last election. From someone who escaped from a bad situation it makes so much sense.
