Hanover
Delores J. (Ensor) Brown, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of Richard L. "Rick" Brown; together they would have shared 44 years of marriage on January 12.
Born Thursday, June 30, 1953 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Nelson H. and Pauline G. (Harman) Ensor.
Delores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and dog lover; her children, her grandchildren and her dogs were always first. She loved her family so much.
In addition to her husband, Delores is survived by three daughters, Stephanie I. Brown and her fiancé, Jeffrey Markey of Red Lion, Jennifer S. Brown of McSherrystown, Melissa E. Groft and her husband, John of Hanover; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn A. Kleynen of Red Lion, Nichole E. Kleynen of Red Lion, Richard J. Markey of Red Lion, Alexis R. Belanger of Hanover, Alayna H. Groft of Hanover; two siblings, Darlene L. Kime of Hanover and Alan N. Ensor of Edgewater, FL.
In addition to her parents Delores, was preceded in death by her son, Erick Brown.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Delores J. (Ensor) Brown was held at 11a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with Rev. Philip Nace officiating. Burial was in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
