Our deepest sympathy to Vaughn's family. He was a talented, passionate winemaker who made wonderful wine.. we met him a year ago and were both impressed and charmed us with his knowledge, enthusiasm and his engagement. He will be missed very much.

Vaughn's passing is a massive shock. Our deepest sympathy's & condolences to Linda & the girls. We got to know Vaughn when he came to Sydney to play footy with UNSW-East Sydney in 2000. He was a champion & so versatile either at full-back or in the ruck. Vaughn worked in our hospitality business at Circular Quay in 2000 & during the busy period of the Sydney Olympics . He was such a hit with all customers & staff & we loved having him around. Maybe his interest & love for wine started then. I continue to try to emulate his art of swirling wine in the glass without any perceptible movement of his wrist. I still get spillage, but each time I try I will remember Vaughn & the laughs we had.
Ted & Alanna Pleming. Sydney
