Ann Madison Obituary

Ann T. Madison

Palm Desert - Ann T. Madison 100, died peacefully at her Palm Desert home on Saturday June 20th 2020 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in San Diego, CA on June 23rd, 1919 to Alphonse Asaley and Margaret Craigen.

Ann was a devoted wife to James D. Madison, loving mother to Daniel J. Madison and Thomas G. Madison, and doting grandmother to Anne M. Madison and James R. Madison.

Coming into the world in the year women won the right to vote, Ann developed an unyielding determination and iron will to succeed. In a trail-blazing career that spanned more than five decades, she made her mark as one of the first women in California real estate. She then passed the California bar at age 45, practicing law through 2017. Seeing women succeed in these occupations became commonplace in the course of her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by her surviving grandchildren, her niece, Donna Asaley, her friend, Clair Mclean, and by all those to whom she was an inspiration.

Services for Ann T. Madison will be held at Forest Lawn Mortuary located in Cathedral City.
