Carleton Chambers Obituary

Carleton Allen Chambers, born Oct. 29, 1973, to Carleton Alfred Chambers and Melissa June (Barrett) Chambers, at Mendocino Coast Hospital, left this life on Aug. 15, 2019, at the San Francisco Veterans Hospital.
Carl joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from Fort Bragg High School. He then moved out of state, working for Citibank and Nielsen Ratings, before returning to the Mendocino Coast he loved and called home.
Carl enjoyed movies, music, gardening and computers, among many experiences in his short life. Hosting and sharing holiday events with family and friends brought him great joy. He had a smile for everyone he met and he never met a stranger. He would help anyone at any time, given the opportunity.
He leaves his children, Katy, Dominic and Riley Chambers; and their mother, Brooke Bishop. His three younger brothers, Jerad (Autumn), Daniel (Alaura) and William (Maricruz), along with his sons, were at his bedside during his last days. He shared his smile with them until he could no more. His nieces and nephews will miss him. Relatives from both Montana and Canada heard of his passing. He will be missed by many.
His lifelong friend, Trevor Kuchar, has invited Carl's family to share his family home to celebrate Carl's life and birthday at Holly's Ocean Meadow on Highway 1, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m. with a dinner served at 5 p.m. A pumpkin carving area will be available. Friends are welcome to bring a side dish, warm memories and a pumpkin.
