Jean was a lovely lady. I met her in the Legion of Mary. She was an inspiration to all of us. I am sorry to hear of her passing.

I, too, worked with this wonderful nurse, mentor and friend for many years at our old Home Hospital here in Lafayette. She seemed to always be compassionate and maintained control and yet had a soft spot for the neediest patient on the unit. She truly answered the "nurse" calling. She will be very much missed. Please tell Amy I wanted most to speak to her, but was able to talk to Sally, Michael and Mary. Your mother was so very proud of ALL of you, as her many stories of you often told us. Carolyn Kuespert, RN...also an Indianapolis Methodist Graduate. I agree with Annette Korty. We all worked together......

To the family of Jean,
I worked with your Mother/Grandmother many years ago, at Home Hospital. She truly answered the Lords calling, to be a nurse!! She was a very compassionate and competent nurse; a real pleasure to know and work with!
The field of nursing has another guardian angel,
Annette Korty

Jean and I were both graduates of Methodist Hospital School of Nursing graduates. I enjoyed getting to know her when she joined Tippi Chorus. Sending prayers and condolences to the family.

I regret that I am on vacation and will miss both the visitation and the funeral Mass. I very much enjoyed serving your Mother's needs in my Elderlaw practice, and visiting her at Rosewalk Commons, before my retirement.
I remember one visit during which she rather confidently and serenely predicted her repose before the end of the year. Her deep faith had brought her to a place where she did not fear death.
May God especially bless Sally and Melody, the kin who most faithfully were involved with her care (in my experience).
Remember, O Lord, Your handmaiden, Jean, who has fallen asleep in the hope of the Resurrection!
