Lloyd Brasseur Obituary

Brasseur, Lloyd A. Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 85 years. Son of the late Lloyd T. and Adelia C. (Ott) Brasseur, Lloyd was born April 25, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Jean A. Robinson, his loving wife of 62 years, on September 20, 1958. She survives him. Lloyd was an engineer at Saginaw Steering Gear retiring in 1991 and a founding member of the Carrollton Fire Department. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Lloyd enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards, playing pool and especially spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Jean are five daughters, Kathy (Tim) Schueneman, St. Cloud, Florida; Karen (Barry) Ebig, Saginaw; Kelly (Leonetta Rizzi) Brasseur, Genoa, Illinois; Kris (Jay) Mikoleizik, Saginaw; Kerri (Robert) Esposito, Saginaw; four grandchildren Christopher Ebig, Benjamin Ebig, Andrew Mikoleizik (Sierra Wellman) and Sarah Mikoleizik; his brother, Gary (Elizabeth) Brasseur Sr., Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Brasseur. A private funeral service will take place at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw with private burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. We are so sorry to hear about Lloyd passing away, we will always have great memories of being your neighbors and all the ( driveway) beers we had together . You taught me a lot and were like a father to me.
