Lorraine Donewar O’Connor Marquer

Lorraine Donewar O'Connor Marquer passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 81. She was born in New Orleans, and was a resident of Gretna. She was preceded in death by her parents Selma Giordano Donewar and Neville Donewar. Wife of the late Constant G. Marquer, mother of Hugh "Kip" O'Connor, III and Colleen O'Connor Parks, grandmother of Christopher O'Connor, Leah Havird (Josh), Megan Johnston (Chad), and Bailey O'Connor, great-grandmother of Nicolas and Grace Evans, and Asa and Emily Havird, sister of Nevillyn Daigle (Gary), and aunt to Gary Daigle (Tina), Chad Daigle (Cindy), and Patrick Daigle (Liz). She is also survived by six great nieces and nephews. Previously married to Hugh "Pudgy" O'Connor, Jr. She was a teacher at Belle Chasse High School, Livadais Middle School, and Ellender Middle School. The family would also like to extend their greatest appreciation to Beatrice Armstrong for her care given to Lorraine throughout this entire journey.
