What a Gentleman. Lyndon allowed me the privilege of protecting his family in their homes, first in the valley, and then in their present home - for a long time. The two homes reflected his personality. The first was truly creative, and the next, a Stately Manner. In the early '90's, he came over to my cracker box office, totally
unpretentious, sitting in the folding chair, listening like an actor (wonder where that came from?) with
a calm wonder, and fully knowing that I was desperate for a sale...he took me on. Over the years, most of our conversations were over the phone, and I always had this picture of Lyndon in my mind from that first interview
of a grounded, generous, caring, cool cat. In those brief chats, Lyndon was always proud of his family's achievements, be it the academic achievements in college, or a best selling worldwide book tour. Well Lyndon,
you can be sure, your Family, Friends, & Acquaintances were glad to know you. A True Gentle-Man. Thanks, Pat

I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss, Ivana and Claire. I'll always remember and smile at Lyndon's overwhelming enthusiasm and brilliance with everything we talked about, whether it be art, steampunk, and of course film! The last time we talked he had butt-dialed me and talked and laughed for an hour! And I loved working on our film together, Ivana and I'm glad it took so long to finish because it gave us all more time together. I am so grateful and blessed for knowing Lyndon and my thoughts are with you and Claire.

These few words I can write here will not adequately express my shock and sadness at hearing the news from my nephew Evan that Lyndon Chubbuck died. (Evan was pastor of Lyndon's mom's funeral in 2009.) I have several HOURS of recordings of interviews I did with Syble and John Chubbuck I never got around to digitally converting and sending to him and Gary. I need to CONTACT Ivana and/or Gary & June about this!

Mr Chubbuck, I will forever be grateful for all your kindness and for what you taught me. My fondest memory of you, is letting me sit in the driver's seat of your red beauty of a vehicle. You will be in my thoughts for many years to come.

My dearest Lyndon, you were my champion. You taught me to step back, remember to laugh because, what can you do, it's perfect, go home, sleep. Thank you for always being there with an encouraging word. To my Ivana and Claire, I love and miss you. My girls.

I can’t believe you are gone... For 27 years you have believed in me, supported me on my journey, and invited me into your beautiful family. We have shared so many good times, heartbreaks, and joys. For 17 of those years, we had our annual tradition of “Love Actually”. I believe we watched it in 6 countries, in person, over the phone, on FaceTime, and most recently, the live show in LA. Our Christmas tradition was one of my lifetime favorite moments each year. I can’t believe I will never get to share it again with you. I will watch over your beautiful wife and daughter always. Paint heaven fantastic Lyndon, until we can all meet again, my dear friend. Lisa

I will be forever grateful for your friendship. All your advice will not go in vain. I will cherish all my memories with you, the stories you shared, the laughs, the tears we cried and most of all the time we spent together just talking. You taught me to enjoy the moment and appreciate LA. There will never be another you and that is just fine with me. For someone like you could never be replaced. Xo

Lyndon and I spent many hours together the last 6 years in hopes of making his scripts come to life. This is what he wanted.
I lost a friend, a brother, a partner and Mentor all in one.
He will be missed by me forever. Words can not say how much love goes to you and your family at this time.
Rest in peace my good friend and partner.
Warmest regards,
Deryl Carroll

Lyndon was always so kind and supportive to his family and friends. He spoke to me when we were together about his relative with a disability and how much he liked him, knowing I had a son with autism. That's the kind of person he was - charming, caring and wanting to make others comfortable and accepted. Without Lyndon, we never would never have gotten our documentary made. He showed how much he wanted us - and everyone around him to succeed. My thoughts go out to his sweet daughter and how he loved her - and to his wife of whom he was so proud.May his memory be a blessing.

I'm so saddened by this news. I had the pleasure of working with Lyndon on two feature film scripts a few years ago. A true gentleman and artist, and a sensitive soul.

I worked with Lyndon many times of the years as his producer. I am shocked and saddened by this huge loss of such a kind, gentle and creative man. Lyndon was always the calm voice of reason on film sets often filled with chaos yet at the same time he was funny and could always put a smile on everyone's face. He was truly a treasure and I will miss him greatly.
