PATRICIA WELLS Obituary

PATRICIA POWELL
WELLS, 81

ATHENS, GA. - Patricia Powell Wells, 81, died January 16, 2021.
A native of Carrollton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Dillard and Christine Duffy Powell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Leon William Wells and sister, Dr. Barbara Powell.
Mrs. Wells moved to the Athens area six years ago, having lived most of her life in Babson Park and Winter Haven, Florida. She loved going to church, reading her bible, and spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren.
Over the years she enjoyed being involved in the local community by owning different businesses, including a gift shop and a WIC store, and volunteering. She deeply loved her family and was always there if they needed her.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacey (Todd) Faulkner of Bogart and Michael (Tim) Ballard of Germantown, TN; four grandchildren, Jake Faulkner, Sydney Faulkner, Andrew (Anna) Ballard and Zachary Ballard.
