Dave was a trusted mentor. He was my boss at Associates in Oklahoma City in the early 1970s. I will always be grateful for his compassion and his his sincere desire to help others. He was a man of faith and spoke often of his children. I do not remember all of his childrens names, but I recall helping one of the girls get a job with the state of Oklahoma one summer. Although I left Oklahoma years ago, I have thought of Dave often and remembered his friendship and gentle ways. I am sure his was a life lived well and I am certain he will be missed.

Found out about Mr. Barry's passing from John Coury. In 1975 after graduating from college, Mr. Barry became my first boss while working at Associates Finance. What a blessed guy I was to have the opportunity to work for him and have as a friend. We played golf after work a couple of times and he attended my wedding in 1976 and my father's funeral in 1993. Living in Tulsa at the time, I last spoke with him via telephone about 6-7 years ago and, not surprisingly, had a great conversation. He loved his family immensely and was a great friend to many. He will be missed.
