Don D. Buckley, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home in Vancleave on Friday, August 21, 2020. He was a fun, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Prior to his retirement, He was a Production Superintendent with Hiller Systems at Ingalls Shipbuilding. His favorite hobbies were fishing, card playing with the grandkids, and more fishing. Mr. Buckley is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Marie (Tucker) Buckley; a brother, Fred L Buckley; and a sister, Mary Frances Mathews. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Raney Buckley; three children, Joe (Donna) Buckley, Theresa Sinclair and W Greg Buckley; seven grandchildren, LaurenJade Sinclair, Matt (Amber) Buckley, Tyler (Hannah) Buckley, Allie (David) Khonsary, Haley Buckley, Devin (Brittany) Buckley, and Brittany Buckley; and nine great- grandchildren. A heartfelt Thank You is in order for the visits and phone calls from his closest friends over the past years. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
