Edna Merl Byrd, the daughter of Lillie Byrd, born in Brownwood, Texas, on April 25, 1933, died in Apache Junction, Arizona, on March 25, 2019. She was 85 and had lived in Fort Bragg for many years. A full obituary will be published next week.
