George Cecil Richardson, Jr., age 68, of Akron, Ohio passed away on April 13, 2021. George was born in Akron, Ohio to parents, George and Betty (née Nicolard). George was a generous, caring person, and a dedicated father who was passionate about helping others in any way he could. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed woodworking, boating, and enjoying life with his "go with the flow" attitude. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Phyllis (née Smarr) Richardson and beloved brother, Michael (Patricia) Richardson. He is survived by his children, Briana (Christopher) Nicodemus and Diana (Melissa) Richardson; grandchildren, Ian and Annie Nicodemus; sisters, LaVerne (Bill) Warner, Becky (Herb) Waidmann, Shell (Jim) Yoder, Kim Jackson, Linda Buchholzer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Special friend, Nancy Breedlove. Per his wishes cremation will take place with no services. In lieu of flowers, we encourage a donation to his favorite charity, T.R.Y. Inc., Truly Reaching You.
