Hanna Jay Geisler
Hanna Jay Geisler was born October 31, 1995 in Cincinnati Ohio. After beating cancer in 2017; she was taken from us after a 9-month battle with secondary leukemia. She attended All Saints School and Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati. Hanna quickly adopted Auburn Alabama as her second home where she attended Auburn University. She graduated from Auburn University in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science. She enjoyed teaching science at The Oaks and also being a personal trainer at East Alabama Medical Center. While at Auburn, Hanna was very involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and loved mentoring young adults in the FCA Women's Ministry. She loved football, animals, hiking and exploring. Her favorite journeys were traveling to Alaska and Banff National Park and hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with her Dad, sister and close friends. She created her own adventures close to home with her Auburn family at Chewacla State Park. She was passionate about life, love, friends & family. Everyone was drawn to Hanna's magnetic personality; she would light up a room with her beautiful smile, laugh and optimism. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Weaver and is survived by her parents; Jon & Lori Geisler (Cincinnati, OH), sister Maria Geisler (Columbus, OH), boyfriend Tanner Harness (Auburn AL), grandparents Jay & Willy Kerner (Evansville, IN), Walt & Susie Weaver (Evansville, IN), 10 aunts and uncles and 13 cousins, Presley; her new pup that provided untold comfort, She also had to say goodbye to many friends close enough to be family from Alabama, Georgia, and Colorado.
