Some emotional connections with folks I have never known revive my memories of living near and enjoying the Val*P folks. Back during the early 1990s, an Oklaloosa County sheriff's deputy pulled me over for speeding over 25 mph on the back road behind Niceville High. I was from Ocean City as a native Bama vacation boy. Having never been pulled over...there's a freezing and ducking momentum to the true tale but I ask the Hardee's Club (the Navarre Club) at Beal and Racetrack to recount the mulleting humor of a fool meeting a professional deputy.

Larry was one of the funniest partners I ever had the privilege to work with. I appreciate his patience and sense of humor. Rest easy Larry, we got it from here!
