Randall H. Vertz
Green Bay - Randall H. Vertz, 68, passed away, from a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer, surrounded by his family at home on December 1, 2020. He was born on October 2, 1952 to the late Francis and Rosella (Roffers) Vertz in Green Bay, WI.
Randy was a member of Green Bay East High Class of 1971. He proudly served in the US Army from 1971 to 1990. He was employed at JBS for 30 years; for which he was very proud. Randy loved to spend time with his family and friends; he loved to go camping, attend the Iola car shows and races at Road America, cheering on the Green Bay Packers as well as NASCAR.
Randy is survived by his siblings: Larry Vertz, Athlestane, Margy (James) Socha, Green Bay, Richard (Sandra), New Franken, Bonnie (Kent) Brunette, Green Bay, Donald (Mary) Vertz, Green Bay, June (Gene) Lefeber, Florence, Robert Vertz, Little Suamico, Stuart (Wendy) Vertz, Green Bay and Wesley Vertz, Green Bay; 6 nieces; 11 nephews; 12 great nieces; 17 great nephews; two great great nephews and two god children: Jonathon and Jamie. He is further survived by many friends at Pauly G's.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann Vertz.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church (650 S. Irwin Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301) from 9 am to 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Little Suamico December 7th at 1 pm where full military honors will be rendered. I knew Randy through work I drive truck for Mike's lines Randy always made me smile he cared about the job and you don't see that much anymore Randy was a good friend all of the Mike's lines drivers that knew him will miss him
