I served under William as a member of the US Army Reserve. He was always an inspiration to me. I always admired and respected him in his role as Sergeant, and enjoyed sharing stories as a friend.
I offer one final Salute.

Served in the Army with Bill for many years. He was a a fervent and dedicated Command Sergeant Major who worked hard to take care of his soldiers. I will miss our frequent talks. RIP, brother.
