Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother
Barbara Elliott Williamson, 74, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, 771 Somerset St., Somerset, N.J. Visitation is on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Arrangements are by Judkins Colonial Home.
Born in Summit, N.J., to the late Stephen and Mildred Elliott, Mrs. Williamson later moved to and resided in Somerset for the last 43 years. She was a proud graduate of Hampton University (formerly Institute).
Mrs. Williamson was the beloved wife of Samuel R. Williamson for 50 years. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children, Patricia and Michael (Tapkesos); four grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law; nine nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
