After Ralph's passing in 1985, Betty became an active leader in the Widowed Persons Support Group where she made many endearing friends. She was a passionate bridge player as a member of the Tuesday Bridge Group at Royal Oaks Country Club and Town North Women's Club along with several other fun loving bridge groups and a member of the Mary K.
