Dorothy J. Brinkman passed away on January 15, 2015. In addition to her beloved husband Arthur H. Brinkman, she is survived by four children, Dorette (Chad) Crawford, Lina (David) Bartkowiak, Arthur (Josie) Brinkman and Trina Brinkman; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sister Patty Waley, sister-in-law Eva Balys, brother-in-law George Brinkman and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend services at the Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:30 am, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
My mother is still missed very much by her family. I know she is with my father now but she is very much missed here.

We always wish there was more time to share with our loved ones. When it's cut short we have to cherish those times that we did have together. You were such a special person and we loved you so much.
