TURPIN, Ernest Lorenza Sr. "Bootsie," 70, of Charles City, departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving and devoted wife, Joyce M. Turpin; two daughters, Renee Payne and Monica Brown (Arnold); son, Ernest "Cisco" Turpin Jr. (Simone); seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four sisters, Rebecca Dixon, Fannie Allen, Princetta Smith and Ceressa Randolph (Norman); and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in the March Funeral Home Chapel, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave. Interment private.
