Francis Chapman Obituary

Francis Chapman of Fallsburg, passed away on April 25, 2007 in his home. He was 62.

Francis was the son of William D. and Pauline A. Newell Chapman. He was born November 27, 1944 in Suffern, N.Y.

He was a Computer Artist and Photo Archivist for the SYDA Foundation for the past 20 years.

He was and Army Combat Veteran who served our country during Vietnam. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

A family statements reads: "Francis was always cheerful and never said No. He was always willing to lend a hand."

Survivors include his siblings, Bill Chapman, Margi Chapman and Daniel Chapman, all of West Haverstraw, Jacki Wightman and her husband, Bill of Tunkhannock, Pa., Susie LaFrancois of Stony Point, and Timi Chapman of West Haverstraw; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by both his parents.

A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
