Gerald Hansford
De Pere - Gerald "Jerry" E. Hansford, age 76, of De Pere, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born in Green Bay on February 12, 1941, to the late Alfred and Dorothy (LeFebvre) Hansford. On June 9, 1984, Jerry married Barbara (DeVetter) Gauthier. He worked as a baker at Mrs. Karl's Bakery. Jerry enjoyed roller skating, bowling, and fishing on Kelly Lake. In recent times, he enjoyed Wii Bowling at Anna's House.
Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife, Barbara; sons, Terry Hansford and Allen (Autumn) Hansford, both of Oshkosh; stepchildren, Tammy (Tim) Thyes, of Green Bay, Colleen (Todd) Messner, of Seymour, Mandy Gauthier (fiancée, Jeff "Chico" Kasel), of Abrams, and Tim (Christine) Gauthier, of De Pere; grandchildren, Dani (Nick) Ribando, Steven (Angela) Blohowiak, Jed Blohowiak, Brock (Rachel) Messner, Zach Boulanger, Alex Boulanger, Brianna Messner, and Jena Paulson; great-granddaughters, Ella and Zoey Ribando; sisters, Jacqueline VandeLogt and Joan Brault; sister-in-law, Beverly Hansford; mother of his children, Jean (Vogtmann) Hansford; his faithful canine, Elvis; special niece and nephew, Nancy Adams, of Las Vegas, NV and Tom (Mary) VandeLogt, of Rochester, NY; as well as many loving other nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Hansford; brother-in-law, Myron Brault; and special uncle, Robert Hansford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Cindy Warmbier-Meyer officiating. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Jerry may be shared with his family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
Jerry's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Anna's House, especially Paula, Cathy, and Roger, for their extraordinary care and compassion. An extended thank you to the staff at Heartland Hospice and his RN, Amber.

Barb, I am so sorry to read this news here in FL. You and I go way back to when we worked together at Bellin, and I have often thought of you and where you are now. This was not the way I wanted to find out. My condolences to you and your whole family. God's blessings.
