Sorry for the loss of both of your parents. I would have met your mother at Xerox functions. Horace was the first person I worked for at Xerox---part of the 914 team on Orchard Street---also used to catch a ride with him to work. Not many of us left from that crew. I was 21 and just out of school. They supported many causes in the Rochester community.

I met Gloria in the mid 1980s when teaching classes at the Gannett School, part of the Rochester Museum & Science Center. She & many of her friends took classes I was teaching on Antique & Collectible Glass & Oriental Antiques. Gloria was a serious collector & connoisseur of art glass & oriental rugs. I had the honor of seeing her private collection & meeting her husband Horace. They were both intelligent & charming people. Horace showed me a doll house he constructed that was a marvel of engineering & craftsmanship, it even had functioning utilities! May both of their souls rest in peace.
