OLSEN. - Herbert Samuel (Bert), passed away peacefully at Box Hill Hospital on Sept. 10, 2000 after a short illness. Dearly loved husband to Elizabeth (Betty), devoted father to Peter and Gary, loved brother to Dolly and Bernard (dec.), loved brother-in-law to Stan, Alan, Jean, Mavis, Hilda, Emma (dec.), Richard, Beryl (dec.), Jim, Joe (dec.) (England), loved father-in-law to Jenny and Kerrie, devoted Grandpa to Amanda and Luke, loved friend to Rhonda. May he rest in peace. Although our time together was cut short, the times we had are irreplaceable. You showed us how to love, how to live and how to be better people. Your smile could light up a room, your laughter could fill our hearts with happiness and your kind ness we will always be grateful for. You may have taken a journey to a better place, but you will be in our hearts, prayers and memories for eternity. You are the sunshine of our lives! Dad, you taught me how to build, you taught me howto love and be loved, there is no way I am able to repay you. You were there for me when I was injured or sad and always there when I needed answers.
