Katherine Mason Obituary

Katherine Marie Mason, 82, passed away on Nov. 24, 2012, at her home in Thornton, Colo. She previously had residences in North Platte and Fort Collins, Colo.
Kathy was born on July 7, 1930, in Oakley, Kan., to John J. Muhlenkamp Sr. and Clara K. Albers. She was the oldest of seven children.
She is survived by her son, Bob Jr. and wife Shelley; four grandchildren,: Pamela, David (Sheena), Daniel and Kimberly, all of the Denver area; five great-grandchildren; brothers, John Jr. (Betty), of Puyallup, Wash., Nick (Opal), Antone (Shirley) and Hank Muhlenkamp, all of North Platte; sister, Clara Vencill, of North Platte; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Sr.; and sister, Marcella.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Private interment will be at Lamont Cemetery in Hershey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of St. John, in care of Bob Mason, 12317 Fillmore Ct, Thornton CO 80241.
Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
