Limon, Locardio "Mac" Age 80, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 with his loving family by his side, he went with God and the Angels peacefully. Born December 9, 1932 in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Preceeded in death by his parents, Mateo and Juanita (nee Banalas) Limon; step-father, Bonifacio Loredo; one nephew, Ray Guajardo; one granddaughter, Brianne Limon; and one great-grandson, Matthew Limon. Locardio is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Consuelo (nee Villagomez) Limon; nine children, Nick (Jean) Sanchez, Joe (Sandy), Terry (Salvador) Lerma, Matthew (Cassandra), Loretta Urbina, Michael L., Marlen Limon (Jose) Reyes, Cynthia, Connie (Mario) Quintero. Also one loving sister, Celia (Willie) Guajardo, and friend, Allen Urbina. Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Mac was a United States Army (Korean War) Veteran (Private 2nd Class-1951-1953) and served a second term in the Army (Private 1st Class-1958-1960). He retired from U.S. Steel Mill, Alumax and Jewel Food Stores. Mac was a die-hard Chicago Bears, Sox's and University of Illinois Fan. Also he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, enjoyed sports, music, dancing and going to McDonalds every morning to have coffee with friends. Mac was a ray of sunshine, and touched everyone's heart that he knew. He will be loved and missed forever. to feel love is when you are with someone that cares for you and Grampa (Locardio Limon) had that in aces all the way, when ever you are with him you feel nothing but tender loving care and get that warm feeling in your body and cant help but to smile. I worked with him at the jewel for a couple of years. He sure loved his family! Always making you smile and laugh. Loved to joke too!!
