Nancy Margaret (Wanland) Warwick
Wautoma - Nancy Margaret Warwick (nee Wanland), age 85 of rural Wautoma, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, December 13, 2018 at her home in the Township of Marion. She was surrounded by the love of her family.
Nancy was born November11, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Herbert and Margaret (Buchanan) Wanland. She came to Redgranite with her family in her youth. She was raised in Redgranite, and attended the Redgranite Grade School and the Berlin High School.
Nancy married Kenneth L. Warwick August 25, 1950 in Wautoma. Ken her husband of 67 years survives.
Nancy raised her family on the Warwick Homestead in the Township of Marion. She assisted her husband Ken in running the farm. They operated a dairy farm until 22 years ago, then did cash cropping until they retired and sold the farm. They remained on the homestead until the present time.
Nancy was a member of the Pinetree Needlers quilting guild of Mount Morris, and had been a member of the former Granite Chapter #209, Order of Eastern Star of Redgranite. She also enjoyed watching and feeding birds.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; 2 daughters, Christina (Russ) Krueger of Glenrose, Texas, and Kim (Terry) Van-Kinderman of Weyauwega; 2 sons, Lyle (Irene) Warwick of Wautoma and Dale (Lana) Warwick of Neshkoro; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a step-sister, Audrey (Rod) Becker of Minocqua, other relatives, and dear friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Herbert who passed away at birth, and a sister & brother-in-law, Judy and Alvin Felten.
FUNERAL SERVICES for Nancy M. Warwick will be held TODAY, (Saturday) December 15th. at 2:00 P.M. at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite. Nancy's grandson, Nicholas Van will be the Presider. Following these Services, Nancy will be laid to rest on the Family Plot in the Marion (Leach Corners) Cemetery in the Town of Marion.
VISITATION: Relatives and friends may call at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite Today (Saturday) only from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the time of Services.
