Phillip David Donnelly
Lebanon - Phillip David Donnelly, son of Governor and Mrs. Phil M. Donnelly, was born June 15, 1924, in Lebanon, MO. He departed this life Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, at the age of 93.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Betty Jane (Paramenter) Donnelly.
David is survived by a daughter, Polly (Donnelly) Strickland, and her husband, Keith, Lebanon; two granddaughters, Erin Donnelly and Allie Rose Strickland; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was a senior partner in the firm which became Donnelly-Baldwin-Wilhite in Lebanon for many years. He had served in various capacities in Laclede County, Lebanon and the State of Missouri. He was a Past President of the Lebanon Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, and belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge since 1942. He was a longtime active member of First Christian Church where he had served as a Deacon for over 40 years.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018, in Lebanon First Christian Church, with Rev. Greg Turner and Rev. Jerry Miller officiating, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Monday in the church. Memorial donations to First Christian Church may be made through Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 320 S. Adams, Lebanon, MO 65536.
