ROBERTA GRAHAM
ROSEWOOD HEIGHTS — Roberta L. Graham, 96, passed away at 5:19 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Integrity of Wood River. She was born on Feb. 4, 1922, in DeSoto, Missouri, the daughter of the late Bert and Nellie (Christi) Steffen. She married Fred Graham on Nov. 9, 1941, in Wood River, and he preceded her in death in November 1995. Survivors include one daughter: Joyce Ann Fehr of Wood River, a granddaughter and her husband: Jackie and Mark Smith of Wood River, two great-grandchildren: Jacob Smith and Kaleb Smith, one sister and brother-in-law: Virginia and Bob Dake of Wood River, two brothers and a sister-in-law: Wally Steffen of Wood River, Warren and Connie Steffen of Rosewood Heights, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Roberta was formerly employed at Roxana High School in the cafeteria.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law: James "Jim" Fehr, two sisters: Bernice Fraser, Venida Shaw, four brothers: Howard Steffen, Eugene Steffen, Gerald Steffen, and Eddie Steffen.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 9 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. Frank Sparks will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
