Floyd and Elaine have been our dear friends for 50 plus years. Floyd had such a gentle soul and was always interested in everyone's wellbeing. We loved to tease him about MSU and he always graciously took it in stride. Our Wednesday night dinners together will never be the same but we know Heaven has welcomed him home. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elaine and family.....Jim and Jean Florence

I am very sorry that I will be out of the area this week and will miss the tribute to this special man. From the day I met him, I had a special affection for Floyd. I have missed him in Optimist meetings and activities, but the greater sorrow is that I never got to sing a duet with him (at least in this life). Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
