Bob "Guido" DeTorres, Sr.

Bob "Guido" DeTorres, Sr., passed away on May 4th, 2021 after a year-long battle with cancer. A resident of Titusville since 1974, Bob founded two companies in Titusville: B & C Communication Towers and Runabout Couriers. He served in the Navy Reserve for 18 years as a Seabee during the Korean War. He was a friendly regular at Patty O's 19th Hole and the VFW, and he was a faithful Bucs fan.

Bob loved his family fiercely. He always had a smile, wink, or a kiss to share. He would always say goodbye with, "Take care of your family."

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cynthia.

He is survived by his son Bob, his wife Anita, and their sons, Dustin, Eric, and Alex; daughter Kathie, her husband Kenney, and their children, Gabreial, Krissy, Kyle, and Kayla; daughter Cheryl and her children, Renee and Nicholas; daughter Mary-Rose, her husband Todd, and their children, Trey and Lucy; son Ken, his wife Louise, and their son, Mike; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family is thankful for the care and compassion of Vitas Hospice.
