God has planted one of his beauties in another garden. I have known Dr. Newman since she was a speech therapist in the D.C. Public Schools. She and my daughter Dr. Cheryl Y. Lee were colleagues. Not only was she my Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror, she was my namesake, Ethel. I pray God's blessings on the family, and pray that He grants them strength to sustain them through this period of transition and thereafter.
