My deepest sympathy to the Hayashida family for losing a mom, grandmother and wonderful woman. I knew Mrs Hayashida not only from Del Oro, but as a co-worker and friend of my mom's and also mother to my friend, Diane. After reading her obituary I realized what a complex and interesting life she led. Her family was lucky to have had her in their lives.

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. God feels for us when we suffer, and promises one day we will live in the true peace and security he originally intended. In the meantime, God promises, he will make you firm, he will make you strong, he will firmly ground you. 1 Peter 5:10.

It was my pleasure knowing you "way back when" Del Oro was in its infancy and you ran a tight ship in the front office.

Isn't it amazing to think of all the strange and complicated times she lived through. Although it's only natural to be sad now, you probably have so many sweet and proud memories of her to treasure!
