Bill and family,

A giant of a man, he leaves behind evidence of his character, integrity, and accomplishments in his family that has and will continue to cast, a large shadow in his memory. The area has lost yet another icon and Rossford, an institution. God bless all during this difficult time of remorse and reflection.

Dear Bill,
I just want to extend my sympathy to you and your family. I know that the wonderful memories that you have of your father will carry you through the times when you miss him most.

I was a student of "coach" at Risingsun and I can truthfully say he was my favorite teacher of all time. I was very upset when he left when I was in 8th grade, but he promised he would come back when we graduated. I forgot that promise over the next four years but he didn't. When we graduated he was right there in the front row! A very caring man and a great influence on all the kids with whom he came in contact.

It can truly be said of this man: They don't make 'em like that anymore. The Rossford School system is a much better place because of his years of service and dedication.

Bill and Cindy, we are your neighbors on West Otter Lake who had the pleasure of meeting your wonderful father this year at The Commons. He and my father-in-law became fast friends, and I can tell you that Bud's positive attitude and joyful spirit made lunch and dinner something Doc looked forward to. Sometimes, I'd arrive after the meal was long over to find the gents still sitting around the table, shooting the breeze.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our condolences to the family and the entire Rossford community.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Bud's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.
