I am so sorry for the Hershey family and my prayers are with them during this immense loss. I do not know the Hershey family or did I know Brett. But I am so encouraged by the fact everything I've read about him either starts or ends talking about his love and passion for Christ. What a testimony and witness for everyone that reads about this brave young soldier. God will surely bless the Hershey family. Love in Christ,

Brett has made a lasting impression on me. He was on of the finest young men I have ever known. My heart and prayers have been with the Hersheys ever since I heard. Brett's love for life and his infectious personality lit up every room he entered. His love for God and desire to make Him known, was evident. I am so glad I got to know him. Love, Liz Swanson

I greive with you and wish to offer something in your loss. Grace is a gift of hope, a future, a change, another chance. Your soldier's service is a grace for Afgahnistan and for us. None can fully measure your loss. But grace planted in the earth does not fail to produce. Seek it out while you wait for its comfort to return to you. This comfort, this hope belongs to you. And it can't be taken away.
