I'm extremely sorry for your loss. I will have to say that I did not know him but the obit made a clear picture of who this man was. This is actually how I want to be remembered, with humor.

I offer my condolences to his kids. I have known the family since Jamie and I were in 6th grade together. Jamie and I were acquaintances in middle school until I stole his seat in 8th grade math, which somehow brought us closer. However, it wasn't until we were in our 20s that we became best friends. I would often stop by Jams house, where he resided with Brian, to pick him up so he would go to the class we had together. In that home, I saw a love for animals and media technology, as well as for Brian's kids. This is how I choose to remember Brian, and I will never stop being there for Jam, Alex and Andrea.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Brian's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.
