CAMILLA PELKINGTON, 67 of Huntertown, Ind., passed peacefully Thursday, April 29, 2021, at home. She was a native of Wilmington, Ohio. Camilla enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends, always appreciative and living life to its fullest. She greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. Surviving are her sisters, Dolores Oltmann and Emeline (Steve) Detrick; eight stepchildren, Debra Pelkington, Robert (Kimberly) Pelkington, Chris (Molly) Pelkington, Timothy (Lysa) Pelkington and Jeff Pelkington, Kim (John) Tippman, Suzanne (Tom) Tippmann and Tonya (Jeff) Linton; nearly 40 grandchildren, nearly 40 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46825), with calling an hour before service. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the funeral home. A Private Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery. I went to school with Camilla and I haven’t seen her since then. Since I return to Ohio I had made several inquiries as to where she was. She was always a sweet kind and loving friend and I know she will be very missed by those who are close to her. My condolences to all of you.
