BISHOP CLARENCE ELDRIDGE SR., 77, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. He retired from Dana Corp. after 25 years of service. In 1994, he and his wife, Margie started Christ Church of Faith where they remained steadfast and faithful for 27 years. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Pastor Margie Eldridge; children, Cynthia (Greg) Copeland, Michaele Wallace, Clarence Jr. (Paulette), Ka'Rin and Robert Eldridge; 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great- grandchildren, eight siblings, and a host of other family and friends. Service is noon Monday, March 12, 2018, at Dupree Memorial COGIC, with viewing starting at 10 a.m. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home. www. ellisfh.com

Dad, please tell Tina, Alita, Sheryl and Momma l love them and I miss them all very much. I praise and honor God for who he is to me everyday, thank you for loving, encouraging me, and supporting me all my life. I'll miss your smile, laughter, singing, praying, hugs, sound wisdom and the signature pat on the arm that said okay or amen or when you were finish and moving in another direction.
