JANIS FAYE STETZEL, 61, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind. Born Nov. 19, 1956 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late John and Kathleen Petrick. She was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception and enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, fishing, traveling, spending summers on Lake Michigan. She had a warm place in her heart for all animals. Janis is survived by her husband, Eric Stetzel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughter, Kayla Marie Stetzel of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Sheri Johnson of West Lafayette, Ind. and Nancy Petrick of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother-in-law, Mark Robert (Laura) Stetzel of Fort Wayne; mother-in-law, Leatrice Stetzel of Fort Wayne; nieces, Jill and Leah Stetzel, Shannon Cauble and Shelley Johnson; and her beloved dogs, Emma and Zoey. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery. Sending my deepest love and support for both Eric and Kayla. I am so heavy with the awareness of your deep loss and grief. I keep you both in my prayers as you make your way.
