ROGER HULTQUIST, 83, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. Born in Norway, Mich., he was the son of Herbert and Flora Hultquist. Roger married Sharon (Shurtz) Hultquist, she survives. Roger graduated from Michigan State University and The University of Missouri, Columbia where he earned his law degree. He was a self employed attorney and talented artist. He was a past president of the Quest Club, former board member of the Embassy Foundation, member of Volunteer Lawyers, past member of the Mental Health Association and past board member of the 13th step house. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hultquist; son, Kerry Hultquist; twin granddaughters, Lily Kay and Isabella Lee Keebler; brother, Larry (Teresa) Hultquist; and sisters, Joyce Neveau, Linda Hultquist, Donna Lockhart Wonnacott, and Diane Mundt. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Dickie, David, Stanley, Marvin, Edward, Marian and Dorothy. A memorial calling was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.

It was with a sad heart that I read of Roger's passing. Roger was a very kind and friendly man. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this most difficult time in your lives.

Dear Sharon and Kerry,We were saddened to learn of Roger's passing.He was one of our favorite artists, lawyers,and people.We loved him and will miss him dearly as we know you do also.We treasure the paintings we have which he did and gave to us.May you find comfort in knowing his was a life well lived in service to others and joy spread through his presence and art.
