I am so sorry for your lost. May you find comfort in the God of all comfort because he cares for you. 1Peter 5:6-7

Betty Pennestri was one of the dearest, most loved and respected women I was fortunate enough to know. I first met her when I was 15 years old. She and her husband Nick's home was open to all the kids in the neighborhood. Their huge basement was the gathering place for kids. I can't imagine any kid saying they didn't know Mr. and Mrs. Pennestri. I met my husband through their son, Jimmy. Years later Jimmy was our best man at our wedding 48 years ago. My husband Bill always told Mrs. Pennestri he wished he had had a mother as grand as she was.
As for how I feel about this beautiful human being, well, she was truly an angel from heaven put here on earth to touch as many lives as possible. I am very grateful she walked through my life.
Mrs. Pennestri, I am happy for you. You are finally with your family again; and I am blessed to have known you and your family. Whenever I think or look back at my youth you, Nick, Steve and Jimmy will always be fondly remembered.
With much love and respect, Vicki and Bill Anderson
