Norma Jean May, 76, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy. She was the wife of Francis "Buddy" May. Born on July 17, 1941, in Floyd County, VA, she was the daughter of Luther Weddle and Iva Oneida (Harmon) Weddle.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Gary Weddle, Tammy Jeannotte and partner Ed Gasper, and Carolyn Ingram and husband Richard. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Souders.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick. Interment will be in Topeka Cemetery in Floyd County, VA.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
