Karl,
You were my neighbor first, then friend and then family. You always looked out for dad and myself. I will miss you so much. Thank you for everything you ever did for us. I hope you are able to rest now. Love you Karl.

RIP my dear friend!!! You will never be forgotton your generousity and that twinkle in your smile could lit the entire state of Maryland. I will never forget that entire group of "Long hair hippy freaks" that got in trouble of my parents basement. I truly hope Karl & my brother Blair are havening a hoot up there in heaven! Enjoy you two "ANGELS" you both deserve it.
Thank you dear Lord for letting me have Karl in my life- I will forever be in your debit.

I knew Karl since opening year of TJ in 1966. 8th grade. Quick witted, great sense of humor. I can't think of anybody who didn't like him. He fit in to any group, including my group of misfits, the United Slobs. Always impeccably dressed, he even looked sharp on Slob Day. Always generous with his time, would always arrange for a group of us to get together if one of us was in town. Because he owned a hardware store he kept track of everybody and knew everyone's family members. He was like Facebook before there was Facebook. I'm really going to miss him. I hope he knew how much he was loved.
