I am lighting this candle to celebrate the life of Mr. Ashbury, to commemorate and thank him for his military service, and in honor of all he has clearly contributed to the community in which he lived. But most importantly, the faith, love, and values he instilled in his daughters, specifically, his daughter, Jill, who has been my best friend for nearly 20 years. The values and faith he taught his children are a direct reflection of the type of man he clearly was. He will live on through them.

Dunbar was a wonderful man--I served on the Vestry with him at All Saints--he was a loyal and dedicated servant of the church, had a great sense of humor, extremely helpful, a gentleman. He will be missed.
