Dear Family,
Norma Lee was my Phys. Ed teacher at FSK the first year it opened and her first teaching job. We loved her. Her smile, energy and spirit were contagious! It was 53 years between graduation in 1960 to 2013 that she and I reconnected on a flight to the West Coast for a bus trip when we learned that we were sitting behind each other. It was amazing. We had so much fun catching up on other students and times. I remember she had difficulty getting around and had no problem getting the hotel we were staying in one night to come take the legs off the bed because it was too high for her to hop into! From that point on I was able to encourage her to attend our class reunions and luncheons. She had so much spirit and we enjoyed her so much. Because neither she nor Horst would drive after dark I, and several of my classmates, went to Mt. Airy and picked them up to come to our class reunion and she was delighted that she had come. I was in Florida for a funeral when I learned from our class president that she had passed and I was unable to attend her services. I would have been there otherwise. She lived a full, active and fun life and she made a difference in mine. She was special and I shall remember her always. My thoughts and prayers are with each member of her family and with Horst who was deeply devoted to her. She lived a great life and now rests in peace.

Dear Stacy and Brian, please know that you are in our prayers. May God give you comfort in this time of sadness and heartache. Aunt Nornie was an amazing woman. She gave us unending love and support when Mom passed away. She will be honored in our memories, forever. Love & Blessings. Danny & Joan
